Free pricing dataset
206 trades · Updated June 2026 · CC BY 4.0
The data behind the calculator, open for anyone to use. Typical 2026 US price ranges for 206 service, trade, and maker professions, each expressed in the unit that trade is actually priced in: per hour, per square foot, per job, per session, per word, or as a monthly retainer.
What's in it
Each row is one trade with its slug, name, category, pricing unit, and a low, typical, and high USD figure. The JSON version also includes the factors that move each price up or down. Every entry links to its full pricing page on the site.
How it's built
Ranges are derived from published market rate data and the pricing model that fits each trade. They are starting figures to inform a pricing decision, not guarantees, and we do not publish invented precision like per-city numbers. See our methodology for the full picture.
