The One-Page Website That Lands Better Clients
5 min read·Updated June 2026
Say who you help in the first line
The top of your page should make a stranger think that is exactly what I need within a few seconds. State who you help and what result you deliver, in plain words, before anything else.
Show proof, not adjectives
Calling yourself passionate and detail-oriented convinces no one. A few strong examples and one specific testimonial do the work. Show the result you got someone, with a real name if you can.
Answer the obvious questions
- What exactly do you do, and for whom.
- Proof that you can do it.
- Roughly what it costs or how to find out.
- One clear way to contact you.
End with one clear action
Do not bury your contact details or offer five different links. Give one obvious next step, and repeat it at the bottom of the page. Clarity converts.
